Home Visit & Culture Experience Program

WAK JAPAN's Home Visit Program lets you visit instructors of tea or flower arrangement. Then customers can enjoy these hands-on traditional experiences with the support/advice from the professionals. Customers can visit local residents houses which foreign travelers do not normally have access to. Our pick-up service by taxis with English speaking attendant can assure stress free journeys from/to customers' accommodation.

Taxi transfer service(for all Home Visit Programs)

  1. 1.WAKJAPAN's English speaking attendant meets with customers at a hotel lobby area.
  2. 2.Transfer to a local family's house by a taxi with the attendant and start enjoying experience(s) upon arrival
  3. 3.After the completion of the experience, the attendant escorts you back to your hotel.

※ Round trip taxi transfers are included in the fee.

※ Taxi services are limited to transfers between hotels and a local family's home and no other destinations.

Option

Plus Origami Course Tea Ceremony, Flower arrangement, Calligraphy, Japanese Dance, Kimono-Wearing, Koto-Playing, Japanese Language Lesson, Origami, Japanese Antiques, Fabric or Paper Craft. This course is ideal for those wanting to do a little more than just one experience.
Enjoy two courses at one time at a greatly reduced price.

In addition to cultural experiences at homes or WAK JAPAN office, WAK JAPAN can offer other special interest programs by encouraging shops or sightseeing places to make themselves available for foreign visitors.

 

Luxury Program

Ideal for VIP customers requiring more than ordinary sightseeing. WAK JAPAN can arrange special visits to temples closed to the public, studios of highly-skilled well-known craftsmen and other unique places.

 

Kyoto guided tour plan (with cultural experience) Program

Kyoto guided tours are combination of private guided tours with WAK JAPAN's hands experiences. WAK JAPAN's experienced guides can make your visits to Kyoto more enjoyable and memorable.
