Home Visit & Culture Experience Program
Why not try Origami (Japanese traditional art of folding paper) and take some or your work back home? They can be very good hand-made souvenirs to your friends, relatives.

"Origami" means paper-folding. Sheets of square paper can be folded into various shapes such as animals, flowers, furniture, toys, etc., normally without the use of scissors. Most Japanese people can make at least a few basic shapes such as crane, box, samurai warrior’s helmet. Our instructor will kindly advise you how to do Origami. You will be amazed by how Japanese people are skillful and you can be as skilful as they are too!
