WAK JAPAN has exchange programs for Japanese junior/senior high school students who come to Kyoto on their school trips. Communicating in English, foreign leaders will visit at historical places in Kyoto city with a group of 6 to 10 Japanese students. Register for us as one of our foreign leaders and get an opportunity to join our international exchange program!

Time

There is no regular schedule. As soon as we have a program available, we will let you know about the details.

Compensation

6,000 yen/4 hours (Including transportation fee between you house and the place.) If you have lunch with your students, we provide you 500 yen as your lunch fee.

Conditions for application

• Any Nationalities
• Fluent English speaker. Native speaker level
• Interest in and good understanding of exchanging culture
  (You don’t have to be “a guide”, should be “a leader” for them.)
• Active and responsible person

* Cancellation on the day and lateness is prohibited.
* If you are not able to make it after your sign-up, please find someone for your substitute.
